James Pressler has been creating and maintaining websites since 1996, learning HTML by example, mostly, and using his database and desktop publishing background to enhance or even semi-automate the process.
Disabled by a stroke, in 1994, he embraced this emerging technology as a way to keep his one useful hand busy, remain involved in the computer industry he loved, work from his home, and avoid intellectual stagnation.
Although these sites are varied in size and scope, virtually every one still receives his attention when revisions need to be made or for periodic updates.
